Silicon Office was
originally developed for the commodore pet micros in the late seventies. The next generation was developed for the small micros of Sirius, Apricot and Dec Rainbow. Next came the IBM personal computers and Silicon Office for DOS and later release 1 for windows 16 bit platforms. The latest version has been developed for operation under 32 bit environments of Windows 95/98 and NT. |
Silicon Office has won and
has been recognised by many industry awards, including the RITA award for recognition of
information technology and achievement, and finalist for office system of the year. The strength and power of Silicon Office has grown from generation to generation, embracing new technologies as they have become available. The original formula remains unchanged which is a testament to the design concept, reliability, ease of use and suitability of the Silicon Office program. |
