Silicon Office 2001 is delivered in three separate versions. Included with all versions are standard, built-in components found in popular Office suites.
The Silicon Office Application Generator, generates software applications for use on local windows machines.
The Silicon Office Application Publisher, generates software applications for publishing to the web, to a central server on a local area network or on a standalone machine. Generated applications can be viewed and executed using the Application Browser.
The Silicon Office Application Browser, allows users to view and execute Silicon Office generated applications. Each application is served to the user as pages similar to web based interfaces, requiring zero user configuration. This approach reduces maintenance and simplifies deployment.
Existing users which have V1 of Silicon Office for Windows can upgrade their licence to the Application Generator 2001 software for £295.00. If you have a networked system of Silicon Office, you may find it more economical to purchase the Application Publisher licence combined with the required number of Application Browser licences.
